Hi ALL!!! I've had some success with A.A. but never more than 6 months. and without A.A. I haven't been able to take a night off. ever. I think A.A. has done great things for me but it didn't keep me from drinking and it seems when I did relapse there was guilt and I drank harder. especially the first time of each relapse. Plus I'm sick of all the absolute truths and fanaticism in A.A. I would like to drink beer and wine responsibly and not have to worry about hangovers or act crazy or lose jobs, without listening to bullshit all the time.
these A.A. people I know are the types who post how happy and spiritual they are on Facebook every day. every day. like they have to prove to each other that they are happy. I really hope this works. If not, I'll go back to A.A. but I'd really rather not.

questions for y'all:
1. I already ordered some naltrexone from alldaychemist. is this the best way to obtain it? Is it cheaper to go to a doc in the states and get a prescription? What have you found to be the cheapest way? and how long does alldaychemist take to ship to say, TN?

2. I used to see a shrink who at one point gave me a Vivitrol shot to be used in conjunction with A.A. The shot made me curious (and sick) and I drank a few days later, then beat myself up, went back to A.A. and I refused future medication on the grounds that my spiritual fitness should be enough. which I think was bologna now. So my question is: can the shot be used to do the sinclair method for the first few months? if so, has anyone here done that?

my cure for alcoholism book should arrive any day, my naltrexone should be here in 2 weeks. I am excited to try this thing!!!!!!!

I got my script from my doc so I can't answer question 1. The disadvantage of the shot is that you have naltrexone in your system at all times, even when you don't drink. If you don't drink every day this is a distinct disadvantage as there are side effects. The shot is quite expensive also.

All Day will take 15-30 (max) days to get stateside, through customs and to your doorstep. My last order arrived two days ago and it took 15 days.

All Day is the cheapest and no hassles with the doc, worth it IMO.
