Ned,

The messages are off topic but what of the fact that if we delete them, the wisdom contained therein will be lost? There are some important messages here, yours included. I'm afraid that by deleting, we'll condemn ourselves to repeating. Damn, I'm a poet!

Great posts, Lena & RV9! So are we done with all this?? Whew - hope so. I need a wash-out day from drama on this site! LOL It really gives me an upset stomach.

But this shouldn't deter newbies from coming aboard - the subsequent posts from everyone help. We're good -

Oh, but a little scary to think that "he who shall not be named/the banned one" should be posting under a different name?! Surely he will out himself if that be true.

Well I'm not going to get overly aggressive with trying to keep banned members (member) out. Anonymizers and proxies make that too difficult. Our problem was the content of some posts and especially the content of PMs reported to us. If a 'new' member engages in the same behavior then we ban again. And again. Rinse and repeat. Hopefully the message to go play somewhere else will eventually get through.

I will say this, though. Once banned, it is illegal in my state (and most others - unauthorized use of computing resources) for a banned member to re-register under a different name. If I think that has happened I will not hesitate to institute a "John Doe" lawsuit in my local justice court, subpoena the necessary ISP records, and proceed to cost the target of my action $200 per hour in attorney's fees to deal with me. Win or lose... I win.

FYI: I have never deleted a single post. The notion that people who are not doing well with TSM are somehow treated differently on this board is absurd. Some of our most frequent, and I would add, most beloved posters (HouTX, Virgil, etc.) are not having success with the method and their messages have never been, and never would be, modified. I myself have been very critical and somewhat skeptical about the claims made in Dr. Eskapa's book, particularly the "three to four month" timeframe for "a cure." I'm at 7 months and still binge once or twice a week and wonder if that will ever stop. That being said, TSM has still done wonders for me. On the days I do not drink I don't think about it; on some days I drink a couple and stop without effort; I almost never drink to the point of acting foolish; my overall numbers are way down, etc. So, the jury is still out on TSM for me personally, although it has been a qualified success to date. And I am very curious to hear nothing but open and honest accounts of how well everybody is proceeding with the method. I know Lena feels the exact same way and am highly confident that RV9 does as well, although we have not spoken directly regarding this issue.

Gimme a break. The only part of a post I "made public" is the fact that you asked me how to get in touch with the banned one. BTW, STOP SAYING more than one person was banned. IT IS A LIE. One and only one person was banned. Suspended for a one-day cooling off is not a banning; it is a gift. You outed yourself that you have remained in contact with the banned one; that opened the door to discussion about how you were able to contact the banned one. I must say it would be disingenuous or even manipulative of you to say you had been in contact with someone and not want to have disclosed how you were able to do that.

Legal action was only mentioned with respect to anyone so deceitful (and pathetic) as to try to get back on the board after being banned. Do you not get, e.g. from the post of houtx, how harmful the presence of the banned one was on this board? I'm thankful our admin is willing to protect us from deceit. So, I find a place where the admin threatens legal action against such mayhem to be very safe and supportive indeed.

If it's my board, then it's yours, too. Are you proud of what you are doing to our board? Or I should say, trying to do, as you just don't seem to be winning people over to participate in your little war -- at least not those willing (able?) to post.

Your "Thanks", but . . . and "I'm sorry", but . . . . remind me of the old adage: "But" is an eraser.

Bring it. I'll keep it up 'til I'm bored. Or until our admin decides enough is enough and deletes this thread. It feels kind of good to vent. I can't wait to hear your next "I'm only the victim" excuse to try to cause conflict. 8-)

Dear moderators, could you please move this thread to Boxing area and set example of sportmanship?

Because the person trying to use this thread to spread lies and conflict has apparently realized he won't be able to go unchallenged, I've asked that the thread be deleted or split.

A couple of interjections on a lighter note: nueral.ned, I loved your expression "signal to noise ratio", and RV9 "rinse and repeat"...too funny!

Ok - ding ding!
